Job responsibilities:

• Restores patient’s function, alleviates pain, and prevents disabilities by planning and administering medically prescribed physical therapy.

• Provides quality care by assessing and interpreting evaluations and test results.

• Determines physical therapy treatment plans in consultation with physicians or by prescription.

• Helps patient accomplish treatment plan by administering manual exercises, giving massages, and using equipment as necessary.

• Evaluates and records patient’s progress, modifying treatment plans, and trying new treatments if required.

• Evaluates the use and fit of prosthetic and orthotic devices by observing, noting, and observing patient’s progress; and recommending adjustments and modifications.

• Documents patient care services by charting in-patient and department records.

• Instructs patients in proper in-home exercises and therapies.

• Educates patients and their families about the recovery process and the challenges they will face.

Receptionist(Part Time or Full Time)

Location: Deer Park and Hicksville

The Receptionist role is everyone’s first point of contact for the office. Flexibility, professional appearance, good communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment are crucial skills for this postion.

Job responsibilities:

• Welcoming visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries and forwarding all calls to the proper location.

• Keeping a safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

• Contributing to the office team environment and helping with administrative tasks as needed.

• Scheduling appointments for patients

• Collecting copays or balance due

• Preparing/restocking exam rooms

• Escorting patients to exam rooms

• Processing forms

• Use of Electronic Medical Records

Education

• High school diploma

Experience:

• Medical office experience preferred, if not, we are willing to train if you are willing to learn.

• Prior experience is preferred.
